Star seller - messages

I'm new to Etsy, and still finding all the correct info, one thing I cannot find is what messages count towards the star seller rating, I have 14 messages in this review period, I've replied to all within less than 2 hours via the messaging tab, but it's only counting 6 towards them and one of them is a message from February which I couldn't reply to within 24 hours.

Does anyone know why it's ignored the rest? I can't seem to find anything that tells me why.

It only counts the first new message, in a new message thread.

You may have physically had 14 messages, but it sounds like only 6 were new, initial messages, started by the messenger, in new threads.

If you message them and they reply in the same thread - that doesn't count.

If they send a new message (after a period of time) to an ongoing thread - also doesn't count.

Thanks for the reply, I have 14 separate messages from 14 separate people. So I'm confused why they only took 6, if they took the 14 I would be closer to my Star Seller badge.

For the stars you have now, you have to click on "last review period"

and download the CSV,
this will have Jan/Feb/Mar numbers,

For the "current review period" etsy is showing what you are working towards, for May so it will have Feb, Mar, and April-to-date numbers

Also, star seller is on a rolling 3-month period. So the stats showing are from Feb, March and April. Your message from Feb that you couldn't reply to in 24 hours still counts.
