In the rules for it, it says
I received 1 4 star and lost my star seller and have not received it back
It's based on the 3 month review period, not 40 reviews ever. You only received 3 reviews in the last review period, one of which was a 4 star. That gives you an average of 4.6, which does not qualify for Star Seller.
@Abbeyoaks: You are confusing two separate and distinct programs. For Star Seller you divide the total number of stars by the total number of reviews during the applicable three month period to get your average. And Etsy truncates so for example 4.79 would be 4.7 not 4.8.
The '< 10% of reviews' is for the Service Standard metric which does not affect Star Seller.
I just copied and pasted what they had down. I just disagree that I should lose it when I didn't even get a 3 star it was a 4 star I just don't get many reviews, which seems kind of silly since a 4 star is good
It's an average.
You may not agree, but if you strive for SS, then you must meet their requirements.
You need an average of 4.8.
You got an average of 4.6.
It used to not be averaged and a 4 star was equal to a 1 star. At least sellers have a chance now and don't need to get 19 5-star reviews just to offset one 4-star.
If you don't get any more less than 5 star reviews, you will be eligible for Star Seller in December at least review wise.
