Star seller calculated incorrectly - customer edited review to 5 stars after app problems

My star seller rating was taken away due to reviews not totaling high enough for Oct-Dec 2023, HOWEVER, it was due to one of my customers having problems with the Etsy app which would only allow her to leave 2 stars with a raving review in December 2023. 

In January, a few days later, she was able to edit the stars from 2 to 5. My current star rating does does not reflect those changes. Please return the star seller badge. I work really hard to provide excellent customer service in all aspects of my business and have done so.

I'm sorry that happened ... unfortunately Etsy does not ever make changes to seller's SS metrics.

Etsy will not make changes to star seller at all--ever. So sorry but you will just have to ride this one out until the 1st of the month. IT should return then provided you meet all the other criteria.

You won't qualify for January because of the low star.  Even though the buyer changed it it won't change the stats for December.  

Did the change in January raise the score?  It may not because only the scores left the first time count.

Updating a review does change star seller stats -- although not retroactively. That's one of the few changes that were made to the program.

Even if Etsy Support or the Help Pages sent you here this is a seller peer to peer forum, and should not be considered a way to contact Etsy, if that is your hope (although Etsy does sometimes read and reply to posts). And Etsy has made it clear that they will not manually adjust Star Seller stats.

"In January, a few days later, she was able to edit the stars from 2 to 5." Star Seller is calculated and awarded only on the 1st of the month and based on what you say it was calculated correctly on January 1.

Since the underlying data has been corrected the Star Seller stats will auto update (but not retroactively).

Thanks everyone for your kind responses. It's too bad my customer didn't edit her review until January and that the rating doesn't autocorrect based on changes, since this rating doesn't accurately represent my shop. I have lots of feelings about the way Etsy uses this star seller program. BTW, if I did need to contact Etsy, is requesting a phone call the only way to get in touch with them? Thanks all.
