We had a review where a customer stated 5 star service but gave us a 4 star, and another customer that has given us a 1 star review when clearly it was meant as a 5 star review. Emails were sent to customers asking to fix their reviews and no response. Due to this we have lost our badge for July if we can't get it back up. We also had another poor review due to the postal service losing a package. Customer contacted us and we got a replacement out immediately (come to find out it was actually the customers fault for putting in the wrong address). Their review clearly said that their package was lost and per Etsy rules that should be a reason why the review should be taken down. I went back and forth with Etsy on it for two weeks and nothing. Anyone else having these problems, and any way to fix it? Etsy has been of no assistance.
Only the buyer can edit their review.
The 4 star was what the buyer chose. His review is fine but doesn't mean he wanted to select the 5 star. Some never give 5 star. If there was a review about address it appears to be gone. I don't see it
The other is a miss but only she can change it yet I'm not sure changing it will help. She can contact Etsy to say she made an error.
You hae a 4 star with no review and another 1 star with no review.
The math is simple for determing what it will take to get back up but my math stressed brain just refuses to do the math. Maybe someone else can help with that,
He clicked 4 star, but said 5 star review, lol. That's how I know it was an accident.
@HomeCabinDecor If you go to forum Announcements and review Updates To Star Seller Program Etsy refers to the 4 star rating and the forthcoming change. You can go to the bottom of that post and share your feedback by completing a survey. Many hard working sellers are losing their star seller badge for things they can't control such as reviews.
I did see that just a bit ago, so that makes me really happy, lol. But yes, it is really frustrating when you get poor reviews for things either not in your control whatsoever, or people making mistakes on the review. The lady even sent me an email saying how happy she was with her items and was planning on buying again for family members, on top of her great review, but clicking on 1 star instead of 5.
