Star Seller

Hello,Although it has been 90 days since my first sale(January 13th), my mini badges are not yet showing as active. I contacted your support team yesterday and they stated that this may be due to a technical error. My store currently meets all the requirements to become a Star Seller and I am excitedly waiting to become a Star Seller on May 1st, but I am still concerned that my mini badges have not been unlocked. Could you please keep me updated on this issue?

You have to wait until May 1st.

Star Seller is awarded on the 1st of every month, so even though you now qualify (regarding the 90 days) you still need to wait until the 1st of the next month (which is May).

Etsy first line support are not very well trained (apparently).

Egads, this kind of comment from an Etsy customer service rep does not reflect well on Etsy at all.  I really wonder what the actual training is for this service position.  From what I read here, most issues are not glitches or technical errors at all, but are misunderstandings of the customer service reps.  How can a rep not know something very basic like all badges are awarded on the first of every month???  Etsy, what is this about?

Honestly, the Star Seller badge doesn’t help much. I spent 3 months trying to reach the target to earn it, and now that I have it, I’ve only made 2 sales this month. Last month, without the badge, I made 18 sales.

@CeremonyCord  I agree 100%. Most buyers don't even know what it is.
