I’ve been working towards Star Seller for a few months, and finally built up enough stats to qualify for the period starting on Feb. 1st— The problem is, I received an order the other day that I was going to do a local drop off for, so I labeled it as complete in my orders and set shipping settings to local drop off so it wouldn’t flag for not being shipped or having no tracking number. The “on-time shipping and tracking” criteria states that orders need to be marked as complete by the ship-by date… And I did that, but it still bumped down my progress score from 100% to 94%. Now I don’t qualify for Star Seller and I’m not sure what I did wrong?

You also have to add the tracking number for it to qualify and it has to be a Etsy approved carrier

For star seller, all items must have a tracking number regardless

@JISCreationsArt: "I’m not sure what I did wrong?" You did not really do anything "wrong". Delivery and pick up are fully acceptable ways to complete an order, but this choice will always negatively affect your Star Seller stats : "All physical listing orders must include a valid tracking number or a shipping label purchased on Etsy to be considered for a Star Seller badge. At this time, we’re unable to make exceptions for local pickup orders." This also applies to delivery orders. the ability to select that is was dropped off is for a completely different etsy criteria. It doesn't have any impact on Star Seller. Which as above requires all orders in US$ to have tracking or an etsy label purchased.

You have to ship on time, WITH TRACKING, for star seller

If you go to the star seller, the right hand box clearly states

on-time dispatch AND TRACKING,
and if you click on that, it has the 3 criteria and how many have a problem, with each criteria, 
processing
dispatch late
missing tracking
