I had my messages auto ON. I DO NOT KNOW how it went to OFF. I am really upset as I was almost to Star Seller. I was certain I turned this on and its not right that it was off. I don't know how it turned itself off. However, I have had all kinds of problems on here. I have had my orders not going thru right away. I have been spending a lot on Ads and hardly any sales as of yet. I dont know why?

When you set up an auto reply the last box, a drop down menu, forces you to select the duration of your auto reply. So when that time is up, the auto reply turns off.

Auto response only stays on a short time and you have keep to re-doing it.

I believe it has to be reset every 5 days, unless you are on vacation mode.

How long did you have it set for? And when did you set it? As others stated, it's a maximum of 5 days. When you set the time, that's the length of the responses, not how long after receiving a message it sends a response. And I only say that because I've seen in here (a number of times) that people thought when they chose 1 hour it would respond after 1 hour, not that the auto responses turned off after 1 hour.

@audreytherese So true. I fell into that little "tap" many years ago and well before SSP. I thought I would try "Auto Reply" as I was, at that time, also running a Retail Shop and thought "Auto Reply" would kick in after one hour with a reply. In fact it "kicked off".

These days, unless there are very unforseen circumstances, I prefer not to use "Auto Reply", reasoning that I, as a Buyer, would prefer to receive a direct response after 12 hours than an automated one within minutes and, then,  a directed one hours later.

The idea is you actually reply to the messages, not let a bot reply, so they are only able to be set for a short amount of time. So it would have turned off, after the time you set it for.

It's customer service - you need to actually answer the messages.

with regard to not being found in search, your titles aren't things people would search for, you have a lot of 1 word tags, and you are in an oversaturated pod market - you could post in shop critiques, for more help with that
