Since July 1st, my Star Seller status is not active.
Is anyone else experiencing this problem?
I've tried contacting Support, but I seem to get generic answers. Something about a technical issue or whatnot. If that is the case, surely there are others experiencing this issue. Hence this post
You need to have 5 sales and at least $300 in the three month review period, not in total. As you have no badges and sell low-value items, I assume you did not achieve that - that's a prerequisite to getting any badges.
Hey hey, thanks for the reply.
But yeah, I do have well over 300 in the past 3 months. So that part should be in order.
Mini-badges are not being shown on the new (test?) shop layout. So it's unclear if the shop earned any badges or not, unless it's the full star seller badge.
@FrankAndCrow I hate what they've done to our front shop page! I have two stars as well - and no credit showing. I also like to see the numbers go up as I make each sale. Now it's just a big round number. They have put the welcome announcement at the bottom, which is ridiculous. Who has their welcome mat at the back door? No way to inform buyers of any changes when they first visit. The years on etsy is wrong. Mine says 14 years, but I've been here for 18 years. Can't they get anything right anymore? It just looks awful, and must just be a "make work and keep them busy" project because it's all horrible. Why don't they just stay out of OUR shops?
The announcement at the bottom is a test still and not everyone is in the test.
I see your shop announcement in the same spot as always and your numbers are not rounded.
And I see the year you started, not a number of years.
So not everyone sees your shop or any shop as you are describing it. It's a test.
@PrimFun A test for what? To see how much they can ruin our shops? We don't need tests like that. If they need work, they can fix search, or put all the page numbers back on our front page.
You have both badges and since your shop is digital, should have the purple wording for SS. However Etsy has been playing with how it displays so this could be the reason.
Are you sure you have everything on digital listing? Nothing on a physical listing for variation purposes?
Take one email and respond back that you still need help.
This is a good remark. I had just 1 "special" physical listing for a customer. I only sell digital patterns, but I made an exception for a kind customer.
Could this really have messed everything up? If so, what is the logic behind it, just so I understand?
@FrankAndCrow It could if there was no tracking.
For the badges showing now, you don't have any,
the $ amount is not all time, it's for the last 3 month period.
did you have more than $300 in sales for april/may/june ?
Sadly, I know my badges aren't showing.
I do have well over 300 in the past 3 months. So that shouldn't be the issue
@CraftyCornishMaids I see her badges. She has the two but does not have the SS.
If she did not have $300 and 5 then she would have no badges even if she qualified for any of them.
@CraftyCornishMaids
@PrimFun
None of the badges (other than the full star) show for those in the new test shop layout. So if you're in the test, it's impossible to tell if the shop has gotten any mini badges.
I guess I'm part of the test too. New page format still a bit buggy. Eh?
July 1st, I received a notice that I was a Star Seller for July.
I have 21 orders in the past 3 months. https://www.etsy.com/shop/PaulZozem
Response rate: 100%
Shipping: 100%
Average rating: 5
And... Nowhere on my page is Star Seller mentioned. Got to be a bug!
Your Star seller bits are all showing when I look. Your purple Star Seller star and all 3 badges.
in the new format star seller is just a star by your shop name. you have that. no bug.
I don't see the individual ones, I am now seeing the new shop format, and they are not there for anyone
The purple star is
....
The OP doesn't have the purple star
@FrankAndCrow You do have star seller. Etsy has changed it to a purple star near the top of your shop page.
@FrankAndCrow: "Could this really have messed everything up? If so, what is the logic behind it, just so I understand?" If you sold something that was listed as a "physical" item, then it requires verifiable tracking for Star Seller regardless of how it was actually delivered to the buyer. Have you checked the applicable CSV file on your Customer Service page (previous period for July 1st badges and Star) to confirm if there are any orders which Etsy thinks were shipped late and / or without verifiable tracking?
Unfortunately we are in the new shop home page layout test and unlike @NanaLetha we do not see the purple Star on your home page but do see if on other shops.
Thank you for your reply. I just checked my CSV-files and they're all in order.
I suppose it's a bug after all, but very frustrating
