Anyone have a difficult time getting in touch with customer service Team lead? I lost my star seller badge due to shipping, but I have post office receipts/indisputable proof that the orders in question were
Sadly, Etsy has said they will not manually adjust things or retroactively award the Star.
Did you download the report and see what order it was? Etsy doesn't adjust star seller stats as @PlatypusDream stated.
"all but one had tracking" it may be that one that is the issue. Check your csv for shipping/tracking Settings > options> download data tab then about halfway down the page add the dates for August and generate the csv..Orders I think?
It's the 4 within a 3 month period of time. The only one that didn't have tracking was a print shipped on time, but didn't have tracking on post office receipt. Which I did notice when I got to the car. That was the only valid "without tracking" I could find. I am VERY diligent.
"...but I have post office receipts/indisputable proof..."
Unless you entered the tracking info, within the shipping date(s) required, they'll show as shipped late, or not shipped at all. Etsy won't backtrack and adjust. They'd likely have tens of thousands of such requests each month, and goodness knows customer service wouldn't have time for that.
Before latest ETSY update, shipping numbers were flagged in red upon entering if a digit was off. I would catch myself missing a number on occasion and fix it immediately. With recent update, this no longer happens and has got me a couple of times. There are a lot of numbers to enter and I am on the dyslexic spectrum. Mistakes do happen. Again, I have proof of on time shipment along with tracking for all but one of the 4 orders.
@everlyMarket: Have the packages been scanned? Sometimes a tracking number cannot be validated until after the first scan is publicly available. Additionally, we have noticed in the past several days a significant lag before some orders are properly updated to "In Transit" and subsequent statuses. Perhaps an Etsy - AfterShip integration issue?
Make sure that the shipped date, tracking number and shipping company show correctly on the actual order. Etsy relies on a third party vendor for tracking (and tracking number validation) and uses the data on the order. As suggested, check the applicable CSV file from your Star Seller page (previous period for September star) to see what Etsy thinks is late or otherwise has something wrong with it. In particular make sure that *Had processing time?* = yes, *Ship by* has a date, *Tracking/label date* has a date, and *Shipped on time?* = yes. Remember that the dates / times for Star Seller are in UTC (not your time zone), sometimes an order is not be counted until after its scheduled ship by date, and Star Seller stats seem to updated only once per day.
What I don't understand is why ETSY recent update no longer automatically flags (in red) a tracking that is invalid (missed digit when entering). For those of us manually entering these numbers, especially for those of us who have disabilities that make it difficult to get every number correct for every tracking. We had a false sense of security with previous system and are now missing out on status earned, even though we can prove tracking and on time shipments.
