Star Seller shipping stats

I was marked late shipping for 2 orders in May for Star Seller. The day they were supposed to be shipped was Memorial Day when the post office was closed. The order numbers were 2902800882 and 2903158994. Has anyone had any success getting issues like this fixed?

@CatchingColorFlies: Unfortunately no, Etsy has never accounted for postal holidays. You always have the option to change the Scheduled Ship By date whenever you see that you cannot ship by then, whatever the reason.

Etsy is a global site, so cannot possibly account for every country's holidays. You need to pre-emptively extend your shipping times. Etsy has said they will not overlook nor correct these late shipping situations.

As already said, Etsy does not account for holidays. Note that this coming Tuesday is also a holiday and any orders that are scheduled to ship by then either need to go out early on Monday or have their ship-by extended.

No, Etsy will not fix this because Etsy doesn't consider it a problem.  Etsy has never taken postal holidays into account.  Instead, they offer two seller tools:

1. Extend your turnaround time prior to a holiday
2. Extend your ship-by date after a sale is made

Either choice will work with Star Seller.

Just so you are aware, the next US Postal Holiday is this Tuesday, July 4th.  Adjust your shop accordingly.
