I'm based in the UK and have the 3rd party integration with Royal Mail's Click and Drop for shipping labels to be purchased in bulk. Last month I was a star seller without any issues, this month it is showing as 75 orders without information resulting in a loss of my star seller badge- I was not aware of any changes to the qualifying criteria so I don't know why its now not accepting them?
@BoardGameSolutions : Make sure that the shipped date, tracking number and shipping company show correctly on the actual orders. Etsy relies on a third party vendor for tracking (and tracking number validation) and uses the data on the order. Perhaps after the API debacle last month your integration did not connect properly?
I checked all of this and its the same information as it was on the previous months when I qualified.
Etsy seller support live chat were extremely unhelpful about the issue and would not look into this to see if it was a technical issue so I'm lost now, I'm loosing out on orders to my main competitor because this has not affected her.
I messaged Etsy customer support about this issue and all they told me to do was post it here, which I'd already done. I've checked the CSV file to show the tracking and I literally have orders sent on the same day, using the same service and one is showing as sent on time and one is not, both were due that day. I'm so lost and no one at Etsy will help me
I'm loosing out on orders to my main competitor because this has not affected her.
This is hugely unlikely as at this point the purple blob does absolutely nothing other than stresses people out. As of now, it is COMPLETELY uselss.
That's ridiculous, what can we do for you here in the forums? Really sorry you got no help plus that bad advice.
I use an integrated 3rd party shipper too but I have to complete the order and add the tracking manually unlike when you buy a label on Etsy and the tracking is added auto. Maybe you'll have to start doing that too?
Thank you, I'm really not happy with Etsy but I don't think there's anything I can do about it.
I was doing this for the first month but then I checked the CSV file Etsy give you for the download and this % of orders wasn't affected by me adding the tracking manually or not, possibly because of the 3rd party integration I use
There was a 3rd party glitch, where the integration wasn't working. This occurred with 3rd party shipping integrations and others (even the etsy app was having issues)
This could have caused the issue.
Double check with your RM account that the correct options are still checked to sync the tracking/dispatch info. (I'm not sure where they are) But they can often be turned off unknowingly.
