I've been a Star Seller for several months now - but not this month of February. Why? Because my message reply dropped to 89%. The only thing different that I've done is reply to a message the etsy app on my phone. Often within minutes as I keep the phone next to me. I'm not always near the desktop as I have to be out and about during the day. Well, apparently it's not wise to reply to messages on the app as my response rate has now dropped even though replying as quickly as I can.
If it's necessary to reply on the desktop or laptop to get your response accurately recorded, why in the world even use the app?
are you using the new app - the one they just released a month or two ago?
I have the app on my mobile and I also have checked the option to have messages forwarded to my email. Are you sure you responded using the app and not a forwarded message from the app?
At any rate, I'd report this to Etsy. It wouldn't be a big surprise that the new app has bugs.
And then I'd send the message that you didn't get credit for to spam. In a day or so your message stats will update with that message excluded.
Thank you for the reply. Yes, I responded using the app and not a forwarded message. Every time I sent a message it said, something to the effect, "thanks for speedy reply". Question: How to figure out which message or messages I didn't get credit for? Thanks in advance.
I think the more important question is, which app did you use? The old orange app or the new blue one? The old orange app is being phased out, so it's possible that if you used that app to respond the data is no longer being updated within your account.
You can see what message you missed by downloading the csv file. I don't know how to do this on a phone, only on a computer.
