Star Seller not recognized

We had a review that was given that lowered our score (we don't have that many reviews right now) but when we reached out to the buyer they were happy with our response and adjusted their review for us which brought our total score above 4.8 again. However, we lost star seller status for the month even though the customer changed their review score prior to the end of the period needed. Anyone else have this issue? I can't find a way to contact Etsy to call this out and correct it.

Etsy help desk will not and can't do anything about star seller.

Yes, I am aware of that. Which is why the website directed me here to write about it if I felt it was incorrectly rated. So, I did. Perhaps it's just to let people get frustrations off their chest and no resolution is made? Not sure

Yes, that is likely the exact reason. 

I know that the help center article specifically says to post here in this forum but they changed this to a peer to peer support forum a few years ago. Sadly the live chat and phone call back support folks tell sellers the same thing ...to post here. That's because they are just a call center and just mimic whatever the help center says which is incorrect in this case. The only way to get help from actual etsy support folks is via email which can take days or weeks to get to an actual human to reply. 

Sometimes admin will post here but that's usually when it involves a site wide issue or bug.

It can take Etsy a day or several days to update Star Seller stats.

It says we didn't meet the criteria for the month and still shows the review in the wrong category.

@MinneCrafts  - Etsy staff monitor the forums and sometimes step in and comment. That's probably why.

@MinneCrafts: Have no proof of this, but it seems like the initial review is all that counts - a later increase or decrease will not affect your Star Seller stats. Perhaps one of the Etsy admins can confirm or deny this.
