I have not shipped an order late EVER and ALWAYS include tracking information. Yet Etsy just dropped my shipping rating to 92% for "failing to include tracking information". I closed December as a Star Seller with a 95% rating for shipping and just today was dropped to a 92%. No way did I neglect to ship on time or fail to include tracking. Something is screwy with Etsy's monitoring...Very frustrating.....

Just a point of correction, the order you sited as resulting in my not receiving star seller status is incorrect. I have an on time shipping badge for the month of January. My other on time orders made up for the one missed shipping deadline.
What resulted in my losing my star seller status was a help request that I replied to within the 24 hour time limit, but on the order convo thread, not the new message thread opened by the help request.
And the fact that message replies from the last 2 days of the month of December were not included in the message reply calculation. The star seller stats page states that the period for star seller runs through the last day of the 3rd month of the calculation period, which is misleading. Deeper in the star seller help information it is stated that messages from the last two days of the month will not be included.
It would be great if the star seller requirement were stated clearly on the star seller stats page. Better yet, wait until all transactions for the entire period have been closed before calculating the star seller status.
The Star Seller issue continues for me. After getting my shipping % cut from 95% to 92% for no good reason, I shipped one order: the same day it was received, complete with tracking info., which I carefully checked. Now today I have dropped to a 90%. The system is truly flawed. (1goodeye)

We've double-checked the orders that you're referring to, and we can confirm that the tracking events are now showing on Etsy. Please know that it may take about 24 hours after an order has been shipped for the On-Time shipping to update.

I don't know if this falls under this category but I have been trying to find a link to talk to someone and it seems that, the number is gone and literally no way to talk to a human.
I have been a star seller for quite some time.
ALL my packages ship out way before the time it is suppose to. Some even that very same day.
I always include tracking with Pirate ship.
It is telling me that there are seven orders that shipped with no tracking. That is false.
I am getting very frustrated with Etsy.
I work hard to keep my status and badges. It has been over 24 hours so it should have updated.
Can you please explain this.
Also it says that I am not responding right away and again that is false. As soon as a message pops up, unless I am sleeping, I answer RIGHT away.
So why is this happening.

Why not have your programwait 48 hrs before marking sellers as late? I submitted the tracking 3/14 and shipped the day after order was received (3/13) and you marked me as not providing tracking and late shipment
you have to ship and enter the number by the dispatch date, otherwise you ARE late
@CraftyCornishMaids Please help explain…Isn’t dispatch day the same as the date I printed label and brought into USPS to be shipped? Also happens to be the day after I received order? Less than 24 hours of receiving order I shipped and I’m marked late with no tracking 🤦🏻
you have to ship by your dispatch date, that's the number of days you set for processing, added to the sale date
@CraftyCornishMaids Ah got ya. Mine have always been 1-3 businessdays. I was well within that range since I processed and shipped the day after order was receive! 🤪
I can't offer you any answers to your questions but I did call Etsy last week and a young lade answered. She did tell me that someone would get back to me in about 1 hour. I did not receive a call back (that I am aware of). I did however post my problem to a forum and received exactly the information I needed to resolve my issue. Just my experience so hopefully someone here can assist you.
I have had no phone access for years. I am a star seller also, and the system has huge technical problems, which never seem to get resolved. ETsy has no interest in helping sellers. They have less staff and incompetent technical engineers that have been working on same problems for months. I never get a real response and constantly report issues. Good luck to all we are now on our own and Etsy is what it is..... no longer to be trusted. Make sure you put your deposits on daily.
The same thing happened to me!
I shipped an item within 24 hours of the sale, and tracking was uploaded as well. Handling is set to 3 business days, so the tracking was uploaded well within the timeframe.
Yet Etsy is showing that tracking was uploaded late.
This happened with a prior order as well. It took Etsy support a couple attempts of outreach to finally resolve.
I want to why this keeps happening and how to prevent this from happening again. I do not have time to reach out for the same mistake.
That is what Etsy is hoping for.... that you do not have time to constantly beg for help and than little is given.
Same problem here. Always ship on time with tracking but have a 92 percent on time rate. I know some of the issue is with the Etsy site as we select the carrier enter the tracking number and Etsy changes the carrier we entered as we are typing in the tracking number. If we are not careful and miss changing it back it shows as a wrong carrier and a late shipment. There system is broken.
