Star Seller message response error

I was marked for not responding in 24 hrs to a message that I was the customer not the seller. I do not think my personal purchases by my personal etsy should get marked against my etsy account as a seller. I dont know why both accounts messages get filed into one inbox but I always respond to my customers within 24 hrs. How do I get this fixed?

And yet another seller that hasn't read the policies or looked this up in this forum. This is the 7 zillionth thread on this exact same issue. You have to reply to all first messages. Like it or not, this is what you have to do to keep from getting dinged for your Star Seller. Every body does this once. Hopefully to learn from this and not do it again.

All messages need a reply, either reply or mark it as SPAM. That is how it has always been, bots just see unread message, not who it is from. If you purchase a lot, maybe a separate buyer account would be better for you.
