Hello! I have one order that was an in person pickup. I marked it this way and did not purchase a shipping label. This has now impacted my Star Seller badge for the upcoming month of Nov. Any suggestions on how to revise the past order and mark as picked up in person? Please help!
You can't fix it. Star Seller does not recognize pick up or personal delivery.

Will local pickup orders be part of my evaluation for a Star Seller badge?
All physical listing orders must include a valid tracking number or a shipping label purchased on Etsy to be considered for a Star Seller badge. At this time, we’re unable to make exceptions for local pickup orders.
This also applies to delivery orders.
Nothing you can do about this one i'm afraid . If you want to take part in the Star Seller metric you may want to reconsider pickup or personal deliveries for future orders .
This is why tracking is required … without it, the buyer can claim non-receipt and win the case, and Etsy will refund them either from their account (<$250 order) or from your account (>$250 order). You also have ZERO seller protection w/o tracking! For drop off/picked up orders, all you have to do is mail a thank you card using Etsy shipping label; the tracking on it will fulfill the SS requirement.
I had one in-person pick up also, and there is an option to mark order as complete and check off the in person pick up option. I did not know it would impact my star seller eligibility and lower my shipping rating, which has been 100% til then
I would like to know how to write a thank you using an Etsy label in case this happens again. Thank you.
The receipt process is easy. On the Etsy labels page, for US sellers only, there is the option to buy a letter rate stamp label for around 60c. It doesn't actually come with full tracking, just a lodgement number, but because you buy it through Etsy labels it counts as tracked shipping. You can use this label to send a receipt to the buyer after pickup. This will satisfy the tracked shipping requirement of the SS program.
If you want you can print two copies of the receipt (there are plenty of receipt templates available for free online) and have the buyer sign both copies at pickup or drop off. Use the label to post one copy to the buyer and keep the other for your own records as proof of delivery. It may or may not stand up to scrutiny in the event the buyer opens a case, but it is a little extra peace of mind.
Unfortunately it only works for US sellers, as other countries generally don't have a print your own label option for letters.
