Star Seller - incorrect shipping causing issues

So the only thing preventing our shop from being a Star Seller is an issue with an order that was shipped on time and delivered (early actually). The auto-selected FedEx when we entered the tracking number, but we only ship with USPS. The customer received their order and left a review with pictures. Our profile says it has been completed but is in pre-transit. How do we fix this to get our Star Seller?

Contact support. They will be able to see the customer left the review and can make the update for you.

It doesn't matter what the auto select is, you need to change it back to the correct one, when you enter the tracking number

There is a long standing, intermittent bug that @FireballFlamingo may have fallen victim to.

Even if you check that the carrier is correct after entering the screen, Etsy can change the carrier while you are typing in the tracking number.

I believe it happens if the partially entered string matches the format of another carrier.

Most reports have come from Australia & Europe but the last comment in this thread from 2023 is from a US seller.

Same issue here. Regularly, especially when using the Etsy seller app, it automatically jumps to FedEx. When I click then on La Poste (which I use in France), it says the number is invalid. I have to delete the number, click it back to La Poste, and fill in the number again.
Sometimes I am in a hurry, forget to double check, and voilà, package is delivered according to La Poste but not accoring to Etsy because it says FedEx.
