So I’ve been on time with all my shipping and was at 100% and on target for star seller, but tonight when I checked my stats it’s saying one of my orders did not have a processing time so didn’t count and therefore dropped my star seller shipping score. The order that it’s saying didn’t have a processing time does have a processing time listed on each of the items purchased. (I checked the listings and the sold out listing. All have 1-2 week processing time listed on the shipping profile, which I shipped within.) I can’t figure out why it’s suddenly saying this order didn’t have a processing time. Especially since just the other day— including after I shipped the items— it was still saying 100% for shipping.

@amomsimpressions: Are you basing this on the applicable CSV file from your Star Seller page? It will give you details about which orders Etsy thinks were shipped late and / or without tracking.
By the way, even if Etsy Support or the Help Pages sent you here this is a seller peer to peer forum, and should not be considered a way to contact Etsy, if that is your hope (although Etsy does sometimes read and reply to posts).
Star Seller stats can take 1-2 days to update and reflect changes. Chances are if you look again tomorrow or the next day, it will be back to 100%. If not, you can try and ask for it to be reviewed, but Etsy have always said they will not manually adjust SS ratings.
I had one just like that. Always ship on time (the day after I get the order), using etsy shipping, so you can see the info right on the order, but they said one of them was like yours, and didn't have a processing time, altho they all did. Didn't make sense, and I questioned them. They looked into it (so they said) but nothing changed. I finally gave up. There's a lot of that going on, and some get corrected but a lot don't. Sorry. You can try contacting them about it, but there's no guarantee it will change, even if you have all the info to give them about their error.

So I don’t know exactly how to post about a follow up on this forum but I contacted Etsy about this today. I was on chat for probably an hour being forwarded around to different levels of customer/seller support. Finally had my ticket sent on to I guess a higher level of engineering who is going to investigate what’s going on. Supposedly it’s a problem but they can’t give me a clear answer or clear answer as to when it’s going to be resolved. Just waiting on an email reply.

I have 2 maybe orders that did not need Tracking information....the orders only needed Postage stamps to send in the mail due to the order was sent in a small envelope. I closed the order - but could not add a tracking because the order did not need tracking! why am I being penalized? There is no where to explain this and I will have more orders that will ship in the future in this manner.........So am I to assume that ALL Orders need a tracking number even if they are shipping in a regular envelope? I can see I will continue to have this issue if all orders need a tracking number to close it ;( This Policy makes absolutely no sense.

That is the way it works and the criteria to meet the star seller is explained here.

This applies to hand delivered orders and any order sent without tracking.
Etsy requires ALL orders in US shops to have tracking, and Star Seller counts any that don't against you. It doesn't matter if you think the order doesn't need tracking, Etsy requires tracking. The only alternative is to ship using Etsy labels for orders that you can send as a letter. In the US Etsy offers a stamp label for around 60c that, while it doesn't actually have tracking, Etsy accepts it as tracked for their requirements.
