Hi there!
I was looking at my Star Seller Stats for the upcoming month,
and I have 2 instances where I did reply in the allotted time at the first contact,
but then did not have the final say after a few back and forth dialogs.
This has been counted as me not getting back to my customer.
This is disappointing! Do I always have to have the final word?
Can this be fixed?
I work hard to be a Star Seller!
Thank you, Jill
You only have to reply to the first message in a thread. You do not have to have the last word. Did you download the info, to be sure which messages were counted against you?
Hi JackisJustVintage,
While you are theoretically correct, the actuality is not reflecting the Etsy policy as many users have reported. Myself included, when reviewing messaging history paired with the downloaded CSV for messages, messages subsequent to the initial contact have been counted as negative for 24 hours responses. I have had the same issue occur. The inital contact was made, I replied within 30 minutes, and after 1 further message back and forth within minutes, the buyer made a final statement to which I didn't reply. This last message is the one being counted negatively as having been not replied to within 24 hours since all other messages were within minutes of receipt.
