Star Seller-Tracking

Jump to solution

Star Seller indicates tracking number was not entered when completing an order.

Tracking number was entered manually.

Did not purchase shipping labels from Etsy.

How can I have this corrected?

@KozykabinTeddyBears: There are innumerable threads  in this forum about your exact issue. How long ago did you ship? Have the packages been scanned? Often the CSV file is often behind reality. If the shipper is supported by Etsy make sure that the shipped date, tracking number and shipping company show correctly on the actual order. Etsy relies on a third party vendor for tracking (and tracking number validation) and uses the data on the order. Often recent shipments are not correctly / timely updated. Usually a day or two after the package has been scanned the CSV file correctly shows tracking and shipment status and Star Seller stats auto adjust.

Hello @NaomiBroudo,

We've double-checked your Star Seller, and it appears that you're at 100% for the On-Time shipping. Please know that it may take about 24 hours after an order has been shipped for this score to update.

On the other hand, prior to posting in a thread in the Forums, we ask that you please check if you are not bumping an old thread that hasn't seen any activity in a few months (or years, even). If that is the case, and you still would like to share your thoughts and get the conversation going - whether about this or similar topics, we ask that you start your own thread instead of bumping an old one.

Please note that reviving old threads can cause confusion for members reading, so always check the dates of the most recent replies before posting. You can find this information on the top-left corner of each message, just below the member's username and profile picture.

Having said that, we are closing this thread as it is indeed a bit older, and the information contained here may be outdated.

That happened to me and I was told by Etsy Tech that it may take about 24 hours after an order has been shipped for this score to update once the carrier shares already tracking events.  The next day my score was back up.
