Star Seller Tracking Information

I am writing to say that my tracking information has all been tracked and updated and the star seller is telling me I have some orders that do not have tracking numbers.  

The only orders that do not have tracking numbers are the orders that I specially make for a customer that is a add on to their existing item. I put no tracking number and other when that is compete.  Is that why I am not getting 100% shipping? that is wrong and needs to be fixed please.

All my orders have tracking.

Hello @981Design,

 

We've double-checked the order that has affected your Star Seller, and we can confirm that this is a custom order which has a processing time of 1 business day. However, the original order of this buyer has a ship-by-date of 1-2 weeks. Since you didn't update the ship-by-date of the custom order to match the ship-by-date of the original order, the custom order was expected to be shipped within 1 business day after the order date. It also appears that you didn't add a tracking number at the time you've marked the order as complete. As a result, the custom order was tagged as no tracking number added.

 

Moving forward, in the event that you're shipping two or more orders in one package, and the ship-by-date of one order was earlier than the other. You can definitely update the ship-by date of the order to match the ship date of the other order. You can extend the ship-by-date for up to 21 days before the original ship-by date has passed. This will then update your shipping calculation. 

Also, make sure to mark all orders from that buyer complete on the same day and add the tracking number for the package to each order.

If I understand your explanation correctly, then you have to think, how would Etsy know that the original order and the custom order are linked if you don't use the same tracking number for both orders?

 

  I assume you send the original order out together with the addition at the same time? If you do then just enter the original tracking number again for the custom order as well and that should fix that request.

Yes.

Etsy doesn't know it's an add on to another order, it's just an order without tracking.

If your sending it in the same package as another order, use the same tracking number when marking complete.

Tracking is required on all orders for Star seller unless they are instant downloads.
