Since my shop sells only large items and delivers via private carrier, I am unable to use ANY of Etsy's shipping methods or list a freight shipping #. I complained when Star Seller came out and you provided me with the ability to choose "This order doesn't have tracking - Oversized items". EVERY time I send my customer a shipping notice I fill this information out along with "Other" and the private carrier name. I still have a BIG FAT 0% for on time shipping.
I ship ahead of time. I should have 100%.
How do you plan on correcting this failure in your system??

Please know that Etsy understands that Star Seller may not be viable for every shop. Star Seller is not a disciplinary program and sellers will not be penalized for low scores. Additionally, having the badge doesn't give sellers an edge over other sellers in search ranking.

2 different things.
On the other side of the spectrum, I ship things via USPS using the 'flat' mailer rate which is only supplied with Etsy's internal tracking number, not a USPS tracking number. I've had several customers buy multiple things in separate orders that I would love to ship all together, but I'll get dinged for the shipping if I don't send them all separately. They definitely need to do a bit of fine tuning.

I mark EVERY order as "This order doesn't have tracking" since we use private carriers. I even add the carrier name in the box under "other". I have done this for EVERY order when Etsy added this option as a result of my complaint at the very beginning.
I still have 0% under shipping.
I am asking YOU to actually LOOK AT MY ACCOUNT.
What is not correct. This information doesn't address a solution since I am already following instructions.

You have 0% for shipping, because every order in US$ regardless of value requires tracking to be entered in the tracking box, to be counted for star seller.
You are not providing tracking numbers in the tracking box therefore those orders are considered by etsy to be shipped without tracking.
There is no other way.
The "this order does not have tracking" tick box, is not for star seller. As I mentioned originally, that was created for a different shipping metric that has nothing to do with star seller.
@RusticWoodWorx : For Star Seller, the carrier you use has to be one that Etsy's third party tracking vendor (Aftership.com) recognizes.
Does Star Seller shipping go against my business since no options fit my situation? Do customers see this 0% or fewer ads from our business because of it?

PER ETSY POLICY: Tracking is NOT required on Local Pick up.
When is a tracking number required?
Tracking will not be required in the following instances:
If you need to indicate an exception other than what is listed, you’ll see an option to indicate This order doesn't have tracking below the tracking number field. You can then add a quick explanation for why you can’t add tracking for an order.
Adding tracking to your physical orders is one of the criteria for the Star Seller badge. Completing an order without adding tracking will not count as a tracked order towards Star Seller eligibility.
For an order to qualify for Etsy Purchase Protection, it must include valid tracking.

I understand that Etsy says their "Star Seller is not a disciplinary program and sellers will not be penalized for low scores", however it IS, in a way, disciplinary for those of us who WANT that badge to show perspective buyers that we run a good business. Half my sales are local so are dropped to the customer literally the next day... and I don't qualify for the badge because I'm not charging them shipping or inputting a tracking number. This definitely feels like a penalty for having local buyers. Etsy should really reconsider this particular requirement and have it based on when the order is COMPLETED not whether there is a tracking number provided.
