Star Seller Shipping Tracking Error

Hello  

I've had 4 order that have failed on the Star Seller Shipping as no tracking. Intact they are correct valid Shipping but the carrier defaulted incorrectly to Parcelforce not Royal Mail. All the orders were send on time with valid tracking numbers. Can these be resolved?

Long before Star Seller was even thought of, we got into the habit of spending a few minutes daily checking the previous day's shipments to make sure that they were at least "in transit" so if something was wrong we could fix it within the 72 hour window we are allotted.

It is unlikely that Etsy will change the underlying data in this case. Whether it is worth trying to argue it out with them, only you can answer after doing a cost / benefit analysis. If they do fix the underlying data, your Star Seller stats will auto update but not retroactively.

@AliceAtticTreasures  - Other shops in the UK, EU & Australia have had this glitch occur. They enter their postal service & tracking number. The glitch changes the carrier to FedEx. Since the tracking # format doesn't agree, Etsy sees this as no tracking.

One shop owner had posted this:
Go to complete the order. Enter the incorrect shipper. Add all the necessary information. Before clicking "complete" go back & change to the correct shipper.

But many others posting did say they would go back in and check their completed orders the next or two. This work-around is not a guaranteed fix. You do have three days to edit the information.

If for any reason you purchased your RM label thru Etsy, they should be able to see that & would hopefully be more willing to correct the problem for you.
