I have added all tracking as required and it shipped on time and have even been delivered and etsy still says 12 orders are missing tracking info. How do I update this?
Are you using Etsy labels?
This issue has nothing to do with the use of Etsy shipping labels. This is happening across the board, with all shipping services.
I had this issue a total of 6 this month. I used the chat feature 2 times. 1st time nothing happened the 2nd time it was corrected in 24 hours. I made sure I gave them all the order numbers of the orders that were shipped on time in the chat.
It's a bug right now, they show either missing tracking info or stuck in pre-transit. I currently have 7 orders stuck in Pre-Transit. Etsy says they are working on it apparently...

Same here, some still say pre-transit and customers have already given reviews....so definitely proof they're not still in transit and late lol.
If those tracking numbers were manually added in (meaning you did not use Etsy labels or you did a combined order), then I've got the same problem and I started a thread on it as well. If you look at the report of which 12 they are, you'll probably also see that the Ship by date was changed to whatever date you added the tracking. I read in another thread about the "pre-transit" issue that the devs did something to the star seller stuff and messed up a few things so it very well could be related.
To answer your question though, you'll likely need to contact support and have them fix those entries.
