Dropped to a 4.7 star review rating a few days before the review period ends. Due to 1 customer leaving a really nice 4 star review. On the 30th September I worked on a resolution with the customer and they deleted their review. Unfortunately Etsy didn't pick up on this. Come the 1st October my rating is back at 4.8 but no star seller.
Customer support say they don't have the power to change scores or award badges. Either sort out your delays with processing data or implement a way to award badges. Maybe process the data again on the 1st of the month as you don't capture changes on the last day.
One seriously annoyed business that grafted like crazy all month with no recognition.
The review is still there.
Star Seller takes a day or so to be awarded, it is not instantly in place at the end of the month.
Wait till the end of the day, if you qualify it should update by then.
That said, don't place too much emphasis on Etsy's recognition. Your buyers' recognition is more important, and for some of us, going all out for that badge would mean lowering our service levels to customers. I don't see anything stellar in that.
Well that’s a shame. The customer made several attempts on the 30th to change the review however it would not update on my end. They eventually deleted it and I verified it was gone some hours later. Much to my surprise it’s made a reappearance.
