Hi there,
My message response rate fell during hurricane Ian when I was without power and internet. Is that something that can be adjusted?
Thanks for your help!
Kelly
Etsy sent out an email to Florida sellers saying that they were giving us a break on SS snafus during Hurricane Ian. Did you get that?
This is the pertinent bit on SS:
"We’re extending Star Seller badges
We’re temporarily adjusting the program to support Star Sellers in Florida impacted by Hurricane Ian. If you earned a Star Seller badge in September, we’ve automatically granted you a badge for October."
You will likely need to contact support directly because they seldom scan the forums for actionable items. Though they made an email announcement to certain sellers directly (apparently, I read about it in the forums, didn't receive it because we're not in the area), there's no guarantee they will update the rating. But best to try to reach out just in case - fingers crossed for you! : )
Hi Moonbeamgifts! Thanks so much for your help. I actually read here on the "how to become a star seller" that:
"Etsy Support can’t make changes to your Star Seller data or manually award Star Seller badges. If you think your Star Seller score was calculated incorrectly, you can let us know in the Technical Issues forum."
But you are right, I should definitely still try them. Thanks again for your help!
@preppyjones if your messages do not need replies you can send to your spam folder for the percentage to adjust.
