Star Seller Message Response Rate Incorrect

Hello, I should have earned a star seller badge this month.

It's saying I've only received 2 messages, which is highly inaccurate and of those two messages I only responded to 1 of them within 24 hours, which is also inaccurate. The only message I didn’t respond to was spam, which I unfortunately didn’t realize at the time needed to marked as spam so as to not count against my rating. This spam message was months ago and since then I've received many many more messages, all of which have been replied to within 24 hours. 

Please help Etsy!

@CulturedKimchi: Are you basing this on the applicable CSV file available on your Star Seller page (previous period for July Star)? When you look at the file remember that that the dates / times are in UTC (not your time zone), only the first message of a new incoming thread is included (all that counts for Star Seller), and usually a new incoming thread is not included until after the 24 hour reply window has passed regardless of when you replied.

 

"Please help Etsy! " Even if Etsy Support or the Help Pages sent you here this is a seller peer to peer forum, and should not be considered a way to contact Etsy, if that is your hope (although Etsy does sometimes read and reply to posts).

The Star Seller calculation is automatic. Etsy has openly said that will not adjust the metrics or retroactively reward a Star.

Hi, I'm sorry you were hit with this.  For the SS Badge of July, the Metric factor in April, May and June.  And unfortunately with the Spam Message, because you didn't Mark it as Spam, it counts that you didn't Respond to a Message in which you were not the Initiator.

your current stats count april/may/june stats

go to - star seller - last  review stats, and download the csv, to see which ones etsy are/are not, counting.

it's each new message THREAD they count, and those in the last few days of the month are rolled into the next month
