Star Seller Error

Hi, 

I was denied a November Star Seller for shipping on time, however, I met all the required shipping. If you look at the shipping for the past 3 months: August, September, and October, I was on time according to Etsy's stats. 

I had 1 delay in July due to my postal worker not scanning my item. I have corrected how I send my items to compensate for that issue.  But, that very issue did NOT count against me in August, September or October 's star seller badges.

Have you downloaded the shipping csv to see which orders Etsy think were the problems?

Yes I have. It clearly shows that there was 1 "Ship by" blank in July, with tracking showing properly the next day of July.

 All of my shipping from August 1 through October 31 shows as on time.

So the July one shouldn't have affected the November star as it would have dropped off by now. There have been a number of threads about issues with tracking or on-time dispatch not being picked up.  The only time that's ever happened to me was when DHL tracking numbers weren't being recognised by Etsy, but that's been resolved. I don't know what to suggest other than you try contacting Etsy. I hope you get it sorted!

That was my thought too  - July should not have counted for November. Thank you very much for you help!! I will contact Etsy now

@sibstudiosewing: What was the ship date for that July order? Based on our analysis of the CSV files, it appears that messages are assigned to the month that the 24 hour reply window ends (not when the message was received or answered) and orders are assigned to the month that they are scheduled to ship by (not when they were placed or shipped). And dates are determined by UTC not the sellers timezone.

The ship date was July 30 with the tracking showing up on July 31.  Two more July 30 orders went out with proper Ship by scans. So they close to August. However , this did not count against me in the past 3 months.  I don't understand why it is now 4 months later in November?

Yes, I see that. There is a blank on the first of the three  7/30 orders. This is one that wasn't scanned. The next column : tracking shows that it was finally scanned into the system on 7/31 .

This didn't count against me the past 3 months

Let me be clearer: The SHIP by column is blank on 1 of the 3 orders.  But, the next column TRACKING is filled in as 7/31 all 3 orders., including the one that was blank on the SHIP by column
