Hello, I had two orders that were going to be shipped in March 1st, but were included in my previous Star seller period (December 1, 2022–February 28, 2023).
Those two orders are show as not shipped in that period so I went down to 93% and lost my Star Seller Badge. When at the moment those two orders are still on time because I had to extend the ship date.
How can I fix my previous period Star Seller state?
Thanks!
Short answer is you can't. They won't fix anything and badges are only calculated on the 1st of the month. So you'll have to wait for the next round to qualify again.
The OP is saying she didn't get March's SS, because of these 2 items which weren't supposed to ship until March so should have nothing to do with the March badge.
You'll have to contact Etsy. They are the only ones that can help you. Be aware though, that they say they can't/won't change anything.
If the ship by date was in the next month, it doesn't matter if you shipped them out early. Etsy only looks at the ship by date and if they were shipped on time. They do not account for orders that were not due to be shipped yet, but were. Therefore, these orders were due to be shipped in March, and will count on the March metrics.
Yes, that's why I don't understand why my star seller badge was removed because of those two orders. If I download the report from the previous period I see the only not shipped orders are these:
#Order | Order placed | Ship by | Tracking/label date | Shipped on time? |
1 | 2023-02-18 | 2023-03-01 | -- | no |
2 | 2023-02-18 | 2023-03-01 | -- | no |
And when checking this period list, I see the same orders with the proper status as I did increase the ship date:
#Order | Order placed | Ship by | Tracking/label date | Shipped on time? |
1 | 2023-02-18 | 2023-03-03 | 2023-03-03 | yes |
2 | 2023-02-18 | 2023-03-06 | -- | no |
I don't understand what your question still is.
The dates were pushed back into March, so they won't count towards your February numbers.
The first order has been confirmed shipped with tracking.
Your second order was due yesterday - it often takes at least 24 hours for the csv to sync up. Meaning, if you check again tomorrow, it will most likely change to be a yes.
It's all about the timing.
They wouldn't have helped you gain the March badge because they would have had to be completed at least a day or two before February ended to be counted.
They were completed in March. Hence, not in your February numbers.

I understand. But depending on when they changed the ship-by date it was probably too late and had already been accounted for in the February numbers.
Actually no, they were originally scheduled to ship March 1st. They were then changed to the 3rd and the 6th. They were never going to count towards the March badge.
That is the point. They never should have been included in February, so the OP shouldn't have lost the badge, which she does not have in her shop. They should affect whether she has a badge in April, not in March.
Then maybe they'll see it and fix the program for the future. They still won't change anything for this month.
The question is how to fix my previous period star badge, when because of the two orders from March 1st my % of On-time shipping and tracking got under the 95%. Basically my previous period Star seller calculation is wrongly calculated
Short answer is you can't. They won't fix anything and badges are only calculated on the 1st of the month. So you'll have to wait for the next round to qualify again.
If it is an actual problem, then they might look at it to fix in the future, but they still won't go back and fix the February badge, even if it should have been issued.
