Star Seller Badge not awarded due to a glitch

Hi, I contacted Etsy via the chat function on July 1st when my Star Seller badge wasn't awarded. After I downloaded my order data, it showed three orders without tracking information on the .csv file. However, when I pull up my Order history, it shows those three orders with tracking information, and that they were shipped on time. 

It's been 9 days since I first made them aware and they haven't fixed it. What should I do? This is not my fault and makes my shop look bad.

Etsy generally does not fix Star Seller stats once the badges are awarded.  If you catch the problem prior to the end of the month and can show them the error they MAY correct it in time for the badge to be awarded, but if not, you will have to live with it.  As much as Etsy may make of the importance of SS, it really doesn't make much difference to most shops.  Just work towards next month's badge and don't waste time worrying about it.

@MidnightSolstices: "... it shows those three orders with tracking information ..." What happens if you click on the tracking number link on the actual order? If it opens the courier's tracking page and shows the scan history then you have proof that the tracking information was entered correctly. In that case you should pursue it - while Etsy will not manually adjust Star Seller stats they can, in some cases, fix the underlying data and then the Star Seller stats will auto update (but not retroactively).

If that does not work and if the shipping company is supported by Etsy make sure that the shipped date, tracking number and shipping company show correctly on the actual order. Etsy relies on a third party vendor for tracking (and tracking number validation) and uses the data on the order.

An unsupported shipping company or invalid / unverified tracking number equals shipped without tracking.

When I click on the tracking number link on the order, it states it was shipped before the cutoff. Two of the orders actually show that they were shipped and delivered before the cutoff. 

I have talked to Etsy support twice now and both times they state it was not an issue on my end, but rather their system, but nothing gets fixed. 

 

I use PirateShip to ship, which is linked to my Etsy account and the tracking information was sent to Etsy, as all my tracking numbers are there for my orders.

 

Appears to just be a glitch that made me lose my Star Seller badge and now I can't do anything to get it back, as Chat Support wasn't able to help me.

@MidnightSolstices  once you mention Star Seller to Etsy Support, they won't help you.
