Star Seller Badge missing despite all criteria met, possible system bug?

Hello Etsy Team and Community,

my Star Seller badge disappeared, although I have clearly met all required criteria for the last 3 months:

- Message response rate: over 95%
- On-time shipping with tracking: 100%
- 5-star ratings: 100%
- More than 10 orders
- Revenue above $300

I did not receive any warnings or notifications, and my performance dashboard still shows that all criteria were successfully met. I’ve checked on both desktop and mobile app – the badge is gone in both.

From what I read in the forum, it seems several sellers are experiencing the same issue this month. Is there a known technical issue with the Star Seller program right now?

Please advise if this is being looked into. Thank you in advance.

The $300 revenue is for the item price only.

You appear to be missing the messaging badge, check the CSV to see which message(s) Etsy believes you missed answering within the 24hr requirement.

Altho the way they're showing it now, it probably wouldn't even say Star Seller if you got it. You'd probably just have an extra little star by your shop name, since they're doing all these crazy tests. So it seems they're kind of downplaying it now anyway.

yes all the badges have been removed as well, maybe they will remove our names next and we will just be left with a little number

I have a similar experience. I've reached out twice to support and I got this answer:

"It sounds like you’re experiencing an issue that our engineering team is looking into. I’ve added all of the details from this ticket to their investigation so they have more information to work with. Thank you so much for reporting this, it lets us know how widespread the issue is and helps our teams prioritize fixes. At this time, we don’t have an estimated timeframe for when this will be resolved."

"I have taken a look and I will be sending this over our technical team to receive further help and see why the badge wasn't provided."

But I don't know if this is genuine, or more of a we-don't-know-what's-up-so-we'll-just-give-this-answer-that-should-make-you-shut-up.
