Hello,

I received an order from a buyer on 12/15/23. The buyer is local to me, so I marked the package as being manually delivered on 12/16/23.

I then realized that they had been charged for shipping, so I then refunded them on 12/17/23 for their shipping through Etsy.

This transaction is marked in Etsy as me not having provided the buyer with Tracking Information, and has lead to me not having the Star Seller Badge.

How can this be corrected and is there something that I can do to prevent this from happening again in the future?

While pickup and delivery are valid options to complete an order, they always negatively impact Star Seller. Will local pickup orders be part of my evaluation for a Star Seller badge?

All physical listing orders must include a valid tracking number or a shipping label purchased on Etsy to be considered for a Star Seller badge. At this time, we’re unable to make exceptions for local pickup orders.

This also applies to delivery orders.

It can't be corrected because there is nothing to correct. Star Seller requires you mail the item with tracking. Local delivery is not recognized.
