6 years later and I'm having the same problem...
Oh my Goodness! Thank you so much for this. I've been trying like crazy to sync my inventory! It's caused MAJOR issues the last 2 weeks with multiple orders of the sold stuff. Awwww maaan, thanks a million!
You saved my life!!! Thank you!!
@ampersay I just deleted from Square then re-connected. Still says "Sync has unfortunately failed. Try again."
My shop has close to 800 items. I have not been able to sync for months. I even try on the fastest/highest bandwidth connection available, and it still does not sync.
Same issue here. I attempted from both my phone and laptop, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, disconnected and reconnected, and still no dice. Any resolution here?
I figured this was a problem with large shops, as I can never sync my square. Glad to see Etsy admin weigh in with a potential solution.
I haven't been able to sync my etsy with my square for two years! I have tried disconnecting square and deleting my location in square multiple times with no luck. This is ridiculous.
I have also been trying to sync my etsy account with square. I've tried deactivating my square account in Etsy. I've deleted the square location. I tried clearing cache. I've tried different browsers. I was able to sync a year ago but it hasn't been synced since. I even went to the link above offered by an etsy admin to submit a ticket.. but NONE of the topics match an issue with square. Any new ideas???
I am having this issue as well. I have done everything listed. i googled and re did the same things. you think with them raising their fees theyd make sure they have their stuff together. apparently this has been happening since 2019. and boy am i upset now that i have purchased hardware now
