Since I cannot seem to find a way to email Etsy Directly, I am choosing to reach out here. Square said that it's something on Etsy's end, so I am not sure what to do here.
Halfway through my market today, due to some internet issues, it seems that square and Etsy stopped talking. This means that my sales are accurate in Square, but inventory and sales are not accurate on Etsy. I want to make sure my 1099 is right for tax season, so does anyone have any advice on how to fix it? I would hate to "delete" inventory, especially since I have trouble remembering everything that sold.

I can’t help with Square but since you only have 22 listings, just take inventory.
Right, I do know how to do that, but it affects my sales count and possible tax stuff if it's not accurate on Etsy.
Same thing happened to me today. I had a craft fair and I'm going to deactivate anything that sold, so I don't sell something that has already sold. Hopefully, they solve the problem and my sales will be reflected on Etsy.
Had the exact same issue today during a craftshow. All sales made with Square are not reflectedin Etsy - so I did the same - deactivated items sold in the afternoon so they could not be sold again. Howwill we ever find out if Etsy has this resolved and if our records are correct?
I have a second day at the the craft fair tomorrow. Hopefully this is resolved before then. Fingers-crossed.
I had the exact same issue today. Everything is working on the Square end, but it seems like it is not communicating with Etsy.
Today was my first market sale using square and Etsy.. I synced items but when they sold they are not showing as sold on etsy?? Looks like this is a new problem? Thought I didn’t do something right but now I see others having issues. Does anyone know how this works with in person sales for print on demand through square?
It has been like that for a while. Most of my items are one of a kind. I'll do a market tomorrow and take quick pictures of the items I sell or I generally try to write it down and then deactive them on Etsy.
I had the same issue today at a holiday market. Sales on Square were posting to Etsy in the morning, but in the afternoon they stopped showing up. I have chatted with both Square and Etsy support tonight. Square said the issue is on Etsy's end. Etsy had me send them a screenshot of the sales on Square so they can look into it. I'm frustrated but it does make me feel better to know others had the same experience today!
it looks like the sales are accurate now, but some things still say they’re in stock when they’re not. I’ll clean some things up for todays market, I’m just glad the sales are accurate now
Mine finally came through at 11pm last night, so hopefully it has been fixed for everything.
Yesterday's Square sales did finally sync. Same issue today at day 2 of the craft fair. Went onto the Etsy site and deactivated everything I sold today. Hoping the sales will sync up with Etsy sometime tonight. . . Sigh!
