Special offer on an item in your cart!

Does anyone else keep getting a pop-up of a "special offer on an item in your cart" that is not in my cart? My cart is empty -- every time I open my page the pop-up is there, after I X it out it returns repeatedly to interrupt whatever I'm searching -- I can't figure out any way to get rid of it -- any suggestions????

Was it something that was in your cart at one time?  I had that issue where I put something in my cart for like 5 minutes and then got a pop up about it for a month.

This was a while ago and I saw other people mention it, too, but I'm not sure if I've seen the solution.  Have you tried the usual?  (Clear your cache, reboot your machine, etc.?) You could try searching for previous forum posts.

There have been glitches on the platform for a very long time. I experienced a similar glitch as you have about a year ago. It took approximately a month for the item to finally disappear from my cart. I logged out and back in, and I tried clearing my cache (history) and those things didn't help. You may have to simply give it time...sometimes a lot of time. I hope the issue resolves itself sooner rather than later for you.

Thanks very much to both of you -- yes it was in my cart at one time but I decided against it and now it's come back to haunt me! I've tried all the usual remedies to no avail -- I think I will refrain from putting anything in my cart unless I 100% intend to buy it.
