Spam?
Here is a new one, or at least for me.
I just received a message from a potential customer saying that she really liked one of my listings, asked me where I was based and if she could pick it up locally. I answered back saying that I would rather not do that as Etsy is not designed for local pickups preferring to see a shipping label and tracking number.
When I returned to check my messages I found that this whole conversation had been placed in the spam folder. I transferred it back to my inbox and found that she had replied to my answer , thanking me for the explanation and saying again that she liked the item and asked me if she could have it painted. I answered her request and again the conversation ended up in the spam folder. The only reason that I can think of for this to happen is that she originally asked for local pick up?
The conversation is back in my inbox for now. Any comments would be appreciated.

Re: Spam?
The message system has been a bit glitchy in the past 3 weeks, with customer messages automatically going to spam.
All you can do at the moment is make sure to check your spam folder at least once a day. You will know which ones are spam or not, do not rely on AI to get it right.
