Space bar in Alt Text doesn't work.

I've been having issues for months with typing out the alt text for the images. The space between words doesn't stay while typing them out. For example, I type a word, then hit space, then type another word. But, when I type the second word the space disappears and both words are lumped together.

I don't have this issue anywhere else, so it's specific to etsy's alt text. It's been months now and I was hoping it would get fixed, but it hasn't. Has anyone else been experiencing this?

Oh yeah, the alt text delays and failure to recognise every keystroke is annoying as hell.  It's been like this ever since they introduced the new listing form.  It has me cursing like a sailor every time I try to input anything.

I had this issue with my Win10 laptop. I hated adding Alt Text because of this. 

I bought a new Win11 laptop in November. The spacing problem still happens, but MUCH less. 

I was, and am, using Chrome for listing on both laptops.

I solve this by typing the statement in Notepad, copying and pasting it into the Alt Text Box. Works for me.
