Hi all,

I am trying to renew a listing of a set of vintage wooden salad servers but every time I try to publish I get this message 'Sorry, this item is unavailable in your region.'

I've had this listing up for quite a while now and have renewed it a couple of times so I really don't understand what is going on.

I just wondered if anyone else has this problem; is it a glitch?

I've not come across this before so I thought I'd ask here if any of you guys have any ideas?

Could it be the Vintage Salad servers has a wooden knife. I know knives cannot be sold to the UK and wonder if that is what is causing the issue.

@EnergyPeace   UK has new regulations about knives and ages and who can sell.  It created a dust up sometime back.  In the UK certain items cannot be sold but they can be sold outside the UK.

The UK doesn’t have new regulations.  Etsy had been breaking the law by not having a system to verify buyers’ ages when selling knives on the platform and was exposed on a recent TV programme. Rather than introduce a system (as Amazon & Ebay have), Etsy has chosen a blanket ban on knife sales in and to the UK.

I too am facing this exact issue with several of the healing stones jewelry (not all even though they are same and just the stones differ). I am based in India. I will appreciate if any of you (based anywhere other than India), could please check some of my listings links here if they show at your end. It will be a great help to me, as I am unable to promote my listings anywhere, since I cannot see them on clicking the link. I don't know if they are showing to my buyers in the USA, UK, and Australia. They do show as thumbnail though (only for custom sorting) in my shop. Your insight will be very helpful to me. Thank you!

you're not allowed to use "healing" in your listings.

Making medical claims is not allowed.

@Amaradorn so many thanks for confirming. I basically was looking at Etsy for export only. So, I am yet not enrolled for India payment. Could that be an issue? Although, in a forum I could see some India payment enrolled sellers too facing the issue.
