Hey everyone,
I wanted to share a frustrating experience I recently had as a small business owner on Etsy. My account was suspended without any warning or explanation, and despite reaching out to Etsy multiple times, I have yet to receive any response regarding the restoration of my account.
As someone who relies on Etsy to sell my handmade products, this suspension has been detrimental to my business. Not only am I losing out on potential sales, but I am also losing the trust of my customers who are wondering why my shop is no longer active.
I understand that platforms like Etsy have rules and regulations in place to ensure the safety and authenticity of their marketplace, but the lack of communication and transparency in this situation is concerning. As a small business owner, I don't have the same resources as larger companies to navigate these issues, and I feel like my voice is not being heard.
I hope that Etsy can address this issue and provide more support and clarity for small business owners like myself. In the meantime, I appreciate any support and understanding from my customers and the community. Thank you.
Are you a new shop? I do not see any sales or much information about your shop.
Could it be that Etsy requires additional verification? check your emails they sometimes end up in spam
Hey!
I opened my account couple of day ago, i think i submited my id when i set up payment information, my spam folder have 0 mails.
It appears you are a new shop. As CryzalisDesigns stated above, it may just be an ID verification issue. This happens sometimes with a new shop. Double-check your emails. What were you selling?
Hey! Yes i m a new account, im selling wood decorations at the moment, i dont know where in setttings i can check that because i already submited my id at the verification process
@LaserCutzDecor It would be an e-mail sent from Etsy requesting more information.
@LaserCutzDecor New shop > automatic suspension. There's many forum threads on this topic. Be sure that your payment set up information matches exactly to your bank info. (address, where your bank is located) and that you uploaded the appropriate document. Recheck all of the tabs in "Finance" in your Shop Manager dashboard for accuracy. It's best to do this on a computer. Also as a new seller you'll want to read the Sellers Handbook located in your Shop Manager dashboard under "Community & Help". Here's additional info on how to set up your shop from the Help Center:
