Shop views accuracy

Hello. I very recently reopened my shop after closing it for about 6 months. I am a bit obsessive about checking my shop views through the day and I am finding the numbers go back and forth along, I am getting hardly any views yet which doesn't shock me but I will look and it will say maybe 5 then I check later for the same day and it says like 2. I don't remember this being an issue before, anyone else experiencing this?

When visits are updated bot views are removed.

I've experienced the same thing and wondered how the number of views could go down.  NanaLetha is right -- Etsy removes the bot views so we don't experience false readings.

Just did another check of my views.  I think I'm going to start selling nuts and bolts and cans of oil.  The only "people" viewing my listing these days are the bots!  Guess I have to start selling what appeals to them lol!
