Shop taken off vacation mode - timeline of events!

My shop was finally taken off vacation mode after a couple of stressful days wondering what went wrong. I know it can vary by seller but I thought I'd post a timeline of events for my own shop in hopes that it can bring you some re-assurance and peace of mind if you're stuck in the same situation. My heart goes out to all of you in this same predicament, as it was extremely stressful to be stuck in this situation at the height of the busy shopping season.

Timeline:
Sunday Dec 15 morning - Woke up to my shop being on vacation mode
Sunday Dec 15 afternoon - Received an email from Etsy. A button popped up on my dashboard where I could upload additional documentation.
Monday Dec 16 - Tuesday Dec 17: - Submitted support tickets, posted on Etsy forums, just generally tried to do what I could to get the attention of someone on the Etsy team as I never heard back from anyone aside from the original email. I don't think this did anything. A fellow seller mentioned that submitting multiple tickets may actually push you back further in the queue. 
Wednesday Dec 18 evening - Got my shop back! 

I wanted to say thank you to all of the fellow sellers that I've gotten a chance to chat with over the past few days. Thank you for your kindness and encouraging words during this stressful time.

Did they ask you to submit any documentation ? Or without any communication or action required on your part just flipped the switch to "on"?

Our vacation mode was lifted on Tuesday evening. Just now they put us on it again!! No e-mails, nothing!

Yes they asked for documentation to verify my business as I am incorporated!

@TheLittleSpruceHome  I'm happy to hear your Shop is back from forced Vacation Mode. Many Sellers have been shut down for weeks. The whole thing is absurd; all it would take is communication from Etsy as to why the Shop is put on forced Vacation. Or how about this; communicate before the Shop is put on forced Vacation. Something is truly off here, and it's not making a bit of sense.

I 100% agree with this. I wish we were given time and explanation as to avoid vacation mode in the first place.

Sorry, posted my previous message as a reply to someone, instead of posting it as a reply to the thread.

My shop has been put into vacation mode again, just 40 hours after it was lifted. The first forced vacation mode lasted from December 12th to the 17th, during which I received no communication from Etsy. Now, without any explanation or notification, it’s happened again.

To everyone else - if your shop is magically lifted from vacation mode, I guess it can be placed back on it at any moment!

I am so sorry to hear this. It makes me nervous that my shop can be placed on vacation mode again
