Any help or advice is appreciated. Etsy has put my shop on vacation mode after I tried updating tax and legal information once switching from Individual/sole prop to incorporated business (Canada)
I am a Canadian seller and I recently incorporated my business and I tried to update my info in the legal and tax information section and I got the scary “we cannot verify your info, you have 2 more tries or your account will be locked” message. Upon speaking with my accountant I believe the issue is because I put my business number into the Business Registration Number section and I think that was supposed to be the corporation number. When I go to try and make the change, the submit to Etsy button is greyed out and unclickable, if I were to click back on individual/sole prop, the button becomes clickable again. I reached out to Etsy and only got the automated response about using a different browser, logging out, clearing cache etc which I have done and I stated I still needed help and haven’t heard back further.
Etsy put my shop on vacation mode and I really am at a loss on what to do and am scared/frustrated as I have over 13,000 sales, 2000 + reviews, have a few best seller items that I am worried are going to be heavily impacted once this issue is hopefully resolved. I have read many forums and threads and it seems like this has happened to others but I am struggling to find a solution. If this has happened to you, if you were able to fix it what did you do?
