Shop put into forced vacation mode without reason

Hello everyone,

Yesterday my shop was suddenly put into forced vacation mode. I have not violated any rules. All of my orders are shipped on time, and the number of orders in my shop is completely normal for me. I never have overdue orders.

All of my information is entered and verified.

I didn’t receive any emails about this, and in my shop it only says that vacation mode was enabled to “help me catch up with my orders.” But I only have a few open orders, nothing unusual at all!

Support replied that they would escalate my case to another team, but I haven’t received any real help or explanation yet.

From what I can see, this issue is not only happening to me — it looks like some kind of error on Etsy’s side.

Has anyone else experienced this? I’d really appreciate any advice from sellers who have gone through something similar.

My situation is 100% identical to yours, and my shop is still in vacation mode without any explanation.

Hi! Thank you for your interest! Fortunately, just an hour ago I received an email from Etsy saying that my shop has been reinstated.

My shop was also placed on vacation mode that same day and everyone else appears to be being restored.  From what I also can see, this issue is not only happening to me — it looks like some kind of error on Etsy’s side. 

All of my information is also entered and verified.

Same thing here, just now. got a n email to update legal details, did that, uploaded new drivers license because it was asking for something there, then got "we're gonna take a few days to look at this uploaded thing because we can't verify it , so while we do that your shop is being put on vactation mode." What the actual hell? Chat is no help. Originally when did all legal uploads, was instant "ok thanks, all is good". I've been selling on Etsy for about 15 YEARS. Will be taking shop elsewhere ASAP if this isn't reinstated today.
