Shop placed into Vacation Mode without my action (possible technical issue)

Hello,

My shop BraceletsHomme (https://braceletshomme.etsy.com) was suddenly placed into Vacation Mode on October 1, 2025, even though I did not enable it.

I checked everything carefully:

  • No open cases

  • No billing issues

  • No policy warnings

  • No suspension email received

This looks like a technical error. I would be very grateful if an Etsy moderator could review my account or forward this to the correct team.

Check your email. They probably want a copy of your ID

Unfortunately, I haven’t received any email from Etsy (I also checked my spam folder). No notification at all.

Same here! You are not alone. Etsy put my shop on vacation mode and no email. Hope its an error and will be fixed asap

Thank you for sharing this. It’s a relief to know I’m not the only one. My shop, BraceletsHomme, was also suddenly put into Vacation Mode with no email or warning, and there are no issues on my account. Hopefully, this is just a technical error and Etsy will fix it soon.
Fingers crossed it gets resolved quickly for all of us!

Double check your dashboard for a notification. Lots of shops don't get emails.

I have exactly the same issue. My shop was also put into Vacation Mode without any notice, and I did not receive any emails from Etsy. I have no violations, no billing issues, and no policy warnings.

Hi BlackSeaLighting, I see that your shop is already back online. Could you please share how you managed to resolve this situation? Many of us are still stuck in Vacation Mode, and your experience could really help.

Hi! I’m so sorry you’re going through this. My shop was also put into forced vacation mode yesterday without any explanation - the number of orders I have is normal for my shop, and all shipments and deliveries are on time. I also know three other sellers whose shops were forced into vacation mode yesterday.

About a month ago etsy sent a mail reminding us to confirm our tax info, did you confirm everything was alright?

These emails were sent out to sellers at different times. I received mine about 6 weeks ago and confirmed everything right away. I also know other sellers who got the same email just 2 weeks ago.

Same issue! No any emails from Etsy or notifications!!! Our shop has been on pause for over 24 hours with no explanation or reply from you. This is severely harming our business.
Our store has no issues that justify closure. Please review and restore our shop immediately. We need urgent resolution. Please help

Mines been in forced vacation mode for about 38 hours now with the exact same circumstances. Extremely frustrating but at least it seems like its a mistake that will be fixed given how many people have had the issue & gotten it resolved. I just wish they would hurry up already...

I've submitted an appeal, called Etsy support and emailed them about it with zero progress towards a resolution so far.

 

It looks like your shop has been restored since leaving this message, did you figure out something that needed to be done? I'm pretty frustrated and anxious to get this fixed ASAP

Same here on the same day as those who originally posted, we have posted in other open threads and now here for a moderator to help.  We also have no cases, no billing issues, no policy violations or warnings, or suspension emails.  We have been open for 9 years on Etsy.
