Shop on Vacation mode - shouldn't be - Help

Hi there,

I've tried to add my LLC info to my shop on 12/31, and because my LLC was created recently, the verification process could not go thru.

I' talked to a Etsy representative on the "online chat" about it, and they adviced me to try again in a few weeks.

Since then, my account is on Vacation mode, because the info couldn't be verified.... 

I've changed it back to my name SSN etc.. (removed the LLC info). The verification went thru and got approved, but my shop is still on vacation mode...

I created a ticket about it (took me a while to find a way around to be able to create a ticket for this matter) on 12/31, and as of today, I had 0 comunication back. It's been 5 days.

I know January first is a bank holiday, but we are now the 4th, and 0 communication.

I just spent all December 31st advertising for my shop, and now have people coming to me : Your link doesn't work / shop is close etc.. and then lose all that work...

I reached out to Etsy on Facebook, they gave me that " provide us more info" but then nothing.

For some reasons I can't get to chat with Etsy anymore... why ? 

I basically have no way to contact anyone to get this resolved fast....

@GenepiGarage: The verification checks are run against official databases and there have been reports that there is commonly a delay of at least 4 - 6 weeks between IRS issuing a new EIN and updating their public facing database.

Correct, my issue is that my store is still closed, even if I removed the LLC issue, I would like to keep it under my personal name for now until I can switch it. 

Why is it not happening ? 

All my parameters are correct and approved under my name / SSN and not the LLC one.

@GenepiGarage  There's a few posts in the forums on verification issues lately.  The moderators seem to have the task of forwarding your issue to a specialist team if they see fit.  I'm glad to see that there's a human that is actually helping sellers in this type of situation versus a bot or automated email.  Let us know how you make out.

Thanks for the feedback, I hope a moderator does it sooner than later. 

it's been a frustrating experience, and I don't want to move my store to another platform, but will do if it doesn't get resolved in the next day or 2.

@BagmakerSupply  Etsy gave notices in our dashboards about getting an LLC but they didn't mention sellers shops would be put on vacation mode for weeks!

I did, and I understnad that the Check did not go thru, but in this case why can't I put back the shop under my name only, remove the LLC for now and try again in a few weeks ? 

I did talked with someone on the December 31st on the chat about that exact process and at no point I was told I will be put on vacation mode. 

 

I'm mainly frustrated by the lack of support / reply from Etsy...
