I started my shop on April 17, 2023 -- about 1.5 months ago -- and I can't find the home page in Google search results. I'm located at etsy.com/shop/jaicandyxo, and when I search up "jaicandyxo" 10 search results appear for me, none of which are the home page to my Etsy shop. It looks like my site has not been indexed properly -- what should I do
Search site:etsy.com/shop/jaicandyxo with no spaces to see what you have indexed. Nothing yet, but it is common to take a month or more to get a new site indexed in Google. Link to it on social media or other websites and Google will follow those links back to link your site faster. As you post more regularly, the Google bots (and other search engine bots) will visit your store faster and faster, until, if you do something every day, they might find a new listing in as little as an hour.
@JaiCandyXO I just Googled "jaicandyxo" and see the results of a reddit post, your Tiktok, a Twitter post, then pics of some of your stickers, then an Etsy promo with your turtle sticker.
I hear it can take quite some time for just your shop name to be indexed.
Is there any way to get Google to index it, or that can help with indexing? Or do I just need to wait? Thanks so much for your response!!!
@JaiCandyXO: One way to possibly speed up the process is to have your own web site that you register with Google so they (maybe) crawl it and have links to your shop and listings.
@JaiCandyXO: Google (or any other search engine) is a different animal from Etsy search. It is strictly up to Google to decide when and if any page will be indexed and / or displayed by them. For a rough idea if your shop home page has been indexed by them, in a Google search box enter "site:www.etsy.com/shop/jaicandyxo" (without the quotes).
If you want to know if a specific listing is indexed by Google, enter "site:www.etsy.com/listing/[LISTING_NUMBER]" Remember that from a search engine's point of view (based on the URL) your listings "belong" to Etsy not to you or your shop.

Links to your shop in the internet will help Google find and index you properly. Talk about your shop on Social Media. Link to your shop everywhere you can. Tweet product listings with your shop address along with the address to to the listing.
It wont happen overnight, but you'll get there.
Thank you, I appreciate you!

This has suddenly happened to me for no reason at all. I’ve had my shop since 2016. None of my listings are showing up in Google Shopping. Nuts.
Same here my shop died 4 months ago I have slowed down listing stuff seems like alot of effort and very very little results. I don't know what happened
You've been told many times - all your photos are cut off as they are the wrong dimensions. Buyers will scroll on past as they can't see what you're selling.
This has been a problem. Etsy listings and shops in general are coming up less and less on Google searches. I have a cousin that works on Google Shopping (as a programmer). He suggests a Shopify or other store not affiliated with another entity. If Etsy and Google can’t play nice,
I’ve had a listing make me nearly $3k in revenue this past month and a half and it still isn’t coming up in Google search or Google shopping. I have linked to it in Instagram, Facebook, etc. No dice.
Not good for Etsy. I’m looking into a Shopify, as this is just another reason why Etsy is not good for most of us. I realize there are success stories but I’ve been doing this for 8 years and Etsy has been taking more and more autonomy away PLUS not protecting and supporting us. But that’s another story…
Good luck, everyone.
is becoming much less
