Shop location - error

I can't select the location for my shop. It says a list of cities should appear, but no matter which city I type, the list doesn't show up.

Does anyone know what to do about this?

Which city are you trying to find?

The city is Kyiv, Ukraine. But trust me, no matter which city I try to search for, Etsy doesn't offer me the option to select it.

@amikoro that's odd. It should be ok since it's not in any of the sanctioned regions. Have you tried just typing Ukraine?

Yes, I’ve tried entering many cities and countries there ahah, and I contacted support, but they couldn’t help..

@amikoro I'm sorry. There are so many bugs on Etsy. It wouldn't surprise me if they forgot to add them.

I've had something similar happen. If my location doesn't show up, I get a message to just pick the closest location to me. It's a bit weird. I'm in the US. Not sure if it is the same internationally.

Just try Ukraine and see if there is a drop down for cities

Others have Kyiv Ukraine but I do remember reading that some sellers were have a problem with Kyiv a few weeks back.  What information did your start your shop with?  What information did you use for location when signing on to have a shop?   You could just use Ukraine for now since you are doing digital downloads and not shipping if it is your shop home page you want the location.   You may need to contact Etsy.

The problem is that I had Kyiv listed, but I accidentally deleted it. Now I can't enter any city. Whether it's New York, Paris, or Berlin, nothing shows up

Bit of a 'long-shot' but, turn off any pop-up blockers. Try a different browser. Clear your cache.

I just tried setting the location from another browser and even from a different laptop, but nothing helps

Yes, i have the same problem. I cant choose shop location. It doenst show any city or country.

Another seller from Canada is reporting the same thing here today.

It wouldn't be etsy if there wasn't some sort of glitch happening.
