We get an email in October 2024 to verify the business information, so we do, and then the store gets closed and forced into vacation mode after being active and successful on Etsy for 4 years. We can't edit the business information from the "Legal and Tax Information" page anymore as we tried 3 times and it locked out. Etsy responded twice since October with the same unhelpful messages. We explained that we can't "make any necessary changes" to the "Legal and Tax Information" page anymore because its locked out.
It's quite possible that there was a misspelling in the original information that was used to open the account years ago. Because we uploaded every possible document they could possibly need to verify the business information, but we never hear back no matter how many times we follow up.
How have you navigated this nightmare? We posted about this several times on the forum since October and the moderators keep shutting the posts down but no one contacts us about the issue.
