Shop announcement missing

Hi there, is anyone else seeing their shop announcement completely missing? (I'm on Safari.)

Yesterday, Etsy moved the shop announcements towards the bottom of listing pages near the mini shop windows, which is absolutely an absurd location because everyone knows SA's are where sellers put the most important information for buyers (sales, discount codes, what's new, etc.), so they should STAY AT THE TOP OF THE PAGE!  Nobody is going to know to scroll down to find the new SA location!  I really wish Etsy would STOP with the various testing procedures ... they are not making it easy on anyone!!!

@TBQSC I agree! What a ridiculous place to put a shop ANNOUNCEMENT.

I am Signed In, desktop computer, Chrome; and I see everyone's Shop Announcement just above the Reviews (bad place for it; it looks like it doesn't belong).

That's absurd! I just put a message there specifically for US customers about tariffs (as I guess a lot of shops will be doing). Where it is hidden now nobody will see it and so they will not be informed at all. Already there is a lot of uncertainty about this and now we can't even give our customers at a glance the few bits of information that we have. Unbelievable.

I noticed that they moved the location as well and don't like the change!  Having it under the listings is very ineffective!  It needs to be moved back to the top of the page!

(Update to my above post): As of today, I am out of this particular test (for the moment anyway). I'm seeing Announcements at the top of the page, where they belong. (same desktop computer, Chrome, which really has nothing to do with if you are in a user based test:)

Ah another useless change to give us something to gripe about. 

Mines been like that a few days now, why would a potential buyer want to see the status of the shop he may be buying from?

My shop announcement has been moved from the top of the page (above the photos) to below the photos, above the reviews. Etsy did this once before about five years ago, and there was quite an outcry, until it was returned to the top of the page. The shop announcement contains important information and is a way of capturing interest. It needs to be at the top of the page! I don't know why Etsy is doing this again. They don't need to test this idea again; it was a failure.

I just posted about this too and then found where they’d moved it to!  Yet another TERRIBLE IDEA without ANY INPUT from their sellers.  PUT IT BACK WHERE IT WAS!

Why, why, why, would anyone place an announcement at the bottom of the page? What is the purpose of an announcement? To get people's attention, as to announce! And it needs to be the first thing that the people see! Hopefully Etsy will put the announcement back at the top of the page where it belongs!

Maybe it's a test on some shops as I can see my shop announcement at the top of my shop as normal? Unless it has changed back already?

This is an account based, not shop based, test. Undoubtedly testing (mobile first ?) layouts to see what impact it has on sales. But it would be interesting to know what percentage of all page views a shop home page is, I would suspect that site wide is very very low and maybe their research shows few buyers see the announcement.

I am not happy with the announcement at the bottom of my items on the first page. That makes no sense. How do we get Etsy to listen? Bad idea for all us sellers. Let alone I lost my 2 year Star Seller due to an error of receipt of message from customer. Urghhh. I feel like I am in first grade and getting a bad citizenship grade.

There was a similar post last week and I said, "I wouldn't worry about it because hardly anyone reads it anyway and I am sure it will go back to the top when Etsy gets done playing with it". But here we are, Its still at the bottom.

Announcements need to be moved back to the top of the page. This is where we can announce Sales and catch customer's attention on the Etsy page. Please move the announcements section back to the top of the page!

Again, Etsy, I was going to run a 4th of July weekend sale but because my announcement is still NOT st the top of my homepage I’m NOT going to do it!
