Hello,
Last year Etsy suspended my shop saying I didn't have a correct tax ID. However I've had the same one for years and never had any issues.
At the Sametime it said I had fees. I contacted etsy but it gave me a automatic message the suspension was due to the unpaid fees it didn't mention the tax ID.
So I paid the fees and it let's me list items and I can see my shop but it's still giving me a notice saying account suspension due to tax ID which I don't understand because my information is already there.
I also notice my shop and listings don't appear in search results. How can this be fixed?
Also I looked and if I wanted to use my social instead of a tax ID it asks for my drivers license and marriage certificate, is this normal?
Yup, your items aren't indexed.
Only Etsy can fix this.
Etsy recently added new layers of security, so yes, you will have to provide the identification they ask for.
Strange. I just searched 'bikini' within your shop and got 22 results (though there should have been more than that). I then searched thru Etsy for your shop and yours was the only result. Did a general search for ''robin retro bikini top'' and yours was in the first spot.
@PlatypusDream huh. I just tried 'top' and also got nothing. ??
eta - Right after x'ing out of 'top', I see nothing in the shop now.
@SHOPSUGARDOLL Did you just deactivate all of your listings? Or am I losing my mind (again)?
names on everything must match exactly
legal and tax info, bank account, and tax ID
you can't have Susan J Smith on one, and Susan Smith, or Sue J Smith on the other
if they are asking for a marriage certificate, have you different names anywhere?
